The National Artificial Intelligence Standardization Overall Group has released the 'Research Report on Ethical Governance of Embodied AI'. The report focuses on the ethical governance of embodied AI, identifying six categories of ethical risks, classified into five levels from R1 to R5 based on the severity of potential harm. It also proposes six fundamental governance principles. Furthermore, the report puts forward solutions in areas such as full lifecycle governance, technological safeguards, and standard-led approaches. Moving forward, China will accelerate the development of relevant national standards, integrating ethical governance requirements throughout the entire lifecycle of embodied AI products.
