On October 6 local time, to meet the growing power demands of its expanding AI data centers, Google signed a long-term power agreement totaling 3,590 megawatts with Constellation Energy, an energy supplier of PJM Interconnection, one of the largest power grids in the United States. Among this, 890 megawatts of power will come from upgraded nuclear units, while the remaining 2,700 megawatts will be sourced from existing power generation resources within the PJM grid.
