French industrial giant Schneider Electric has announced that it will acquire U.S. industrial software company PTC Inc for approximately $22.6 billion in an all-cash deal, marking the largest merger and acquisition in Schneider Electric's history with a premium of over 40% above PTC's recent closing price.
