Among the new generation of AI laptops launched by NVIDIA based on the RTX Spark platform, seven models are equipped with OLED screens, with all panels supplied by Korean manufacturers. Specifically, Samsung Display provides six models, while LG Display supplies one. RTX Spark is NVIDIA's new-generation PC platform released this year, integrating an Arm architecture CPU with a Blackwell architecture GPU into a single chip, along with a corresponding software environment, focusing on delivering on-device AI experiences. Previously, NVIDIA collaborated with MediaTek to develop the N1 and N1X processors, marking its entry into the PC market. Reports indicate that the future competitive focus in the PC market will shift from CPU and NPU performance to the processing speed of AI agents and on-device AI models. The article details the six specific models supplied by Samsung Display, along with brightness parameters for some models. LG Display provides a tandem OLED panel with dual emission layer stacking for the Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition, offering improved longevity and energy efficiency. Currently, the AI laptop market is rapidly expanding. TrendForce predicts that its share of the overall laptop market will rise from 19.3% last year to 37.5% this year and reach 84.9% by 2029. Given that AI PCs are primarily used for high-performance creative tasks and gaming, there is a high demand for screens with high resolution, brightness, and fast response times. Additionally, AI operations increase overall power consumption, further elevating the importance of panel energy efficiency.
