On October 4, local time, President Trump of the United States announced the establishment of the 'Superintelligence Special Task Force' (SIF). This initiative is aimed at orchestrating the federal government's endeavors in the realm of superintelligence. The task force is set to streamline communication and foster collaboration among the federal government, consumers, public interest groups, religious organizations, providers of critical infrastructure, and superintelligence companies.

The task force will operate under the joint leadership of National Intelligence Director Jay Clayton, Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson, Department of Defense Chief Technology Officer Emile Michael, and Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Cooper. They will report directly to President Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

Earlier, on September 29, Trump signed an executive order mandating federal administrative departments to adopt the term 'superintelligence' instead of 'artificial intelligence' in official documents, reflecting a strategic shift in terminology and focus.
