China Life Insurance has made an announcement revealing that its non-wholly owned subsidiary, Pension Insurance Company, along with its related entity, Property Insurance Company, are set to enter into a partnership agreement. They will act as limited partners, while SDIC Leading will serve as the general partner, among other participants. This agreement is slated to be signed before December 31, 2026, with the aim of jointly establishing a partnership that boasts a total subscribed capital of 20 billion yuan. Specifically, both Pension Insurance Company and Property Insurance Company are each planning to contribute 2 billion yuan to this venture. The partnership's primary investment focus will be on Shanghai's three key industries: integrated circuits, biopharmaceuticals, and artificial intelligence, with SDIC Leading taking on the role of manager. According to the listing regulations, this transaction is classified as a connected transaction and is only subject to reporting and announcement obligations, without the necessity of obtaining independent shareholder approval.
