According to sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic PBC has decided to abandon its acquisition of artificial intelligence startup Decart AI. Previously, Anthropic had shown interest in the deal and conducted due diligence on Decart, but ultimately chose to back out. The sources, who requested anonymity due to the non-public nature of the information, said that the two companies may still pursue other collaborations in the future. Representatives from both Anthropic and Decart declined to comment on the matter.
