The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has unveiled a strategic plan designed to foster the growth of an open-source startup ecosystem. This initiative is geared towards bolstering the national-level AI open-source community, known as AtomGit, by furnishing AI startups with top-tier open-source resources and services. Concurrently, the plan motivates these startups to actively contribute to the open-source landscape by sharing models, tools, datasets, and more, thereby collectively nurturing an ecosystem that thrives on openness and collaboration. Furthermore, the plan advises enterprises to judiciously leverage open-source resources according to their specific needs, thereby minimizing the expenses associated with technological research and development as well as product innovation.
