On September 4, 2026, OpenAI officially released its new flagship large model, GPT-6 Astra, claiming it to be the world's most intelligent and highly aligned model. The model achieves generational leaps in areas such as mathematical reasoning, cybersecurity, computer operations, and scientific research, particularly scoring a near-perfect 99.9% on the ARC-AGI-3 test, significantly outperforming previous models and competitors. Astra is now available to select enterprise users, with gradual rollout to ChatGPT paid subscribers and services provided through the OpenAI API and Amazon AWS in the coming days.
