Devanathan will assume a newly created role as OpenAI's top executive in the region, overseeing consumer user growth, corporate partnerships, operations, and regulatory communications. She will officially take up her new position in October. Devanathan announced her departure from Meta on LinkedIn on Friday but did not disclose further details.
