From August 22 to 26, the 2nd World Humanoid Robotics Games took place at the National Speed Skating Oval, affectionately dubbed the 'Ice Ribbon', in Beijing. These robots competed in 51 distinct events, encompassing a total of 1,301 races. In a thrilling conclusion, Team Tiangong emerged as the frontrunner in the medal tally, securing a remarkable haul of 9 medals, including 5 gold and 4 bronze. Not far behind, Shanghai Zhiyuan Team amassed 9 medals as well, with a balanced mix of 4 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze, while Chengdu Zhiyuan Team rounded out the top three with an impressive 4 gold and 1 bronze medals. When aggregating the results by enterprise, the Zhiyuan-associated teams clinched the top position, excelling in both the total count of gold medals and the overall medal tally, which aligns with the international sports competition's habit of ranking by the number of gold medals first and then the total number of medals.
