NVIDIA's financial report for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 has unveiled that the company has undertaken commitments concerning land, power supply, and primary building facilities for data center projects of select AI cloud service partners. The maximum total risk exposure for these commitments stands at $108.5 billion. Particularly noteworthy is the substantial scale of commitments linked to NVIDIA's partnership with OpenAI in the construction of a large-scale AI infrastructure in Ohio, USA. Earlier, NVIDIA had declared credit support of up to $105 billion for this project, complemented by a $1.5 billion investment. Furthermore, NVIDIA persists in propelling AI infrastructure development by taking strategic equity stakes in power developers and issuing a technical white paper on 800-volt DC architecture.
