Xiaomi’s official “Beta Assistant” has released an announcement stating that the closed beta phase for the AI interaction testing product Xiaomi Miclaw (“Longxia”), which is built upon Xiaomi’s MiMo large model, will come to an end on September 21, 2026. Consequently, the service will be officially discontinued. Xiaomi extends an invitation to users currently participating in the closed beta to upgrade to the Xiaomi HyperOS 4 Beta version without the necessity of re-registering. Users who choose to upgrade can complete a survey questionnaire from now until 24:00 on August 30 to claim enhanced benefits for the Super Xiaomi AI Expert Mode, valid from September 1 to December 1. Upon upgrading, users will automatically exit the Xiaomi Miclaw closed beta, though this will not impede their ability to claim the aforementioned benefits. Should users desire to continue using Xiaomi Miclaw, they have the option to remain on the HyperOS 3 version until the closed beta period concludes. For those users who are not yet prepared to upgrade to the HyperOS 4 Beta version, they may opt out through the relevant entry in the Xiaomi Community and reapply for the beta at a later date.
