As of 0:00 on August 17, DeepSeek's new API pricing structure officially came into play. This update features an across-the-board price hike and the implementation of a peak-valley pricing system. Peak hours are designated from 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 Beijing Time, spanning a total of 7 hours; the remaining 17 hours are considered off-peak, with prices set at half of the peak-hour rates.
Taking the V4-Pro model as an example, the cost for cache hit input during peak hours jumps to 0.30 yuan per million tokens, marking a staggering 1100% increase; the output price climbs to 27 yuan per million tokens, a 350% surge. It's important to note that this pricing adjustment solely impacts API developers. Regular users accessing the service via the web and App will continue to enjoy free usage.
