Recently, WeChat has unveiled three fresh AI access points tailored for high-frequency scenarios during the grayscale testing phase of its in-house AI assistant, 'Xiaowei,' bringing the total number of AI access points to 16. On the official account message page, a Xiaowei icon and an 'AI Summary' access point have been strategically placed at the far left of the 'Frequently Read Accounts' section. Upon clicking, Xiaowei seamlessly compiles recent updates from the user's frequently read official accounts into a concise summary, enabling users to swiftly grasp the core information. Furthermore, an 'AI Summary' button is conveniently located at the bottom of official account articles, empowering users to extract key points with just a single click.

The new access points also encompass 'AI Comments' for Moments and 'AI Processing' for chat images. Users can now long-press text in Moments to trigger AI-generated comments or utilize AI capabilities to beautify, extract information, and modify images while viewing them. These innovative features are currently in the grayscale testing phase, necessitating users to update to version 8.0.75 or above and patiently await the gradual granting of access to their accounts.
