On August 18, reports emerged that several departments, notably the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, have collaboratively unveiled the "Action Plan for 'Artificial Intelligence + Education' in Yunnan Province." This plan outlines a clear vision: by 2030, artificial intelligence general education will be widely accessible at every stage of schooling. It envisions the formation of a dedicated AI education team, comprising both full-time and part-time experts, to drive this initiative forward. The plan also emphasizes the need to substantially boost the AI literacy and practical skills of both educators and students, thereby elevating the scale and caliber of AI talent development.
