On August 17th, the official website of Volcano Engine unveiled that its video generation model, Seedance 2.5, now fully supports native 1080p video generation and has concurrently rolled out the corresponding API. Seedance 2.5 stands out for its "cinematic-grade long narratives," boasting lifelike visual fidelity and the ability to capture extended takes. Previously, it was capable of generating videos in 480p and 720p resolutions. The inclusion of 1080p resolution further elevates the image sharpness and overall visual quality, unlocking a wider array of creative avenues for post-production and bolstering its capabilities for professional applications. Additionally, the official Volcano Engine website is running a time-limited promotion: from now until September 17th, the cost of generating 1080p image-to-video content will be slashed from 3.7 yuan per second to roughly 2.7 yuan per second.
