According to a press release issued by NVIDIA, OpenAI plans to construct and operate a world-class AI factory in PORTS-Pike. The factory will utilize NVIDIA's full-stack DSX AI factory platform, encompassing GPUs, CPUs, networking, and infrastructure software. The initial deployment is expected to provide 4.25 gigawatts of AI computing capacity. Each generation of NVIDIA AI factory systems deployed at PORTS-Pike, equivalent to approximately 1.5 million NVIDIA GPUs, is projected to generate $150 billion to $200 billion in revenue for NVIDIA. The site is designed to support multiple upgrades over a 20-year period. Additionally, NVIDIA may choose to expand the deployment scale at PORTS-Pike beyond the initial 4.25 gigawatts to utilize the remaining 3.75 gigawatts of capacity. OpenAI has committed to large-scale deployment of NVIDIA AI infrastructure by 2030, with its existing and planned deployments accounting for approximately 12 gigawatts of NVIDIA's total computing capacity. If NVIDIA extends the PORTS-Pike agreement to approximately 16 gigawatts, the overall deployment scale is expected to reach the same level. NVIDIA stated that, from these perspectives, this opportunity means that NVIDIA's computing business volume is expected to reach approximately $600 billion by 2030.
