On the same day, Microsoft Edge also raised the minimum space requirement for local AI models to 20GB and added a new requirement for a GPU with at least 5.5GB of video memory. Users can manually disable this feature in Chrome settings, while Edge will automatically clear the model when available space falls below 10GB.
