During Alphabet's Q2 2026 earnings call, CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed that the company is fully engaged in training its next-generation cutting-edge large model, Gemini 4, and has already allocated substantial computational resources. Gemini 4 aims to address shortcomings in programming and agent capabilities, while building an even larger foundational model.
