On July 23 local time, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer stated that the European Commission announced a fine of nearly $1 billion against Google on the same day, following previous actions taken against Google's Android operating system and search services under the Digital Markets Act. Additionally, the EU recently announced the provision of the largest-ever state-guaranteed loan to Airbus.
