The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, along with other relevant departments, has jointly released the "Several Measures of Beijing Municipality for Accelerating Agent-Driven Development." These measures are designed to foster innovation in agent technology and nurture emerging forms of the intelligent economy. They specifically encourage the growth of the token economy and advocate for the research and development of versatile processors tailored for agent systems, as well as specialized inference chips that offer low latency and high throughput.

Simultaneously, the measures support innovative entities in overcoming key technological challenges, such as inference architectures. They promote the reduction of inference costs through strategies like heterogeneous collaboration and in-memory computing synergy, while also optimizing application-layer efficiency to bolster overall token efficiency across the entire chain.

Furthermore, the measures suggest reimagining product formats and service models, fostering novel business paradigms such as Token-as-a-Service (TaaS) and Agent-as-a-Service (AaaS). They also aim to include more qualifying new token products and services within the purview of support offered through service vouchers for small and medium-sized enterprises.

To expedite the adoption of agents, the measures will augment support mechanisms, including computing power vouchers, and encourage eligible regions to consider issuing token vouchers and agent service vouchers as well.
