On July 8, Meta Platforms Inc. unveiled a new image-generating AI model named Muse Image, marking the first major release since its Chief AI Officer, Alexandr Wang, rebuilt the AI lab. Muse Image will be integrated into Meta's social apps, such as Instagram and WhatsApp. Users can generate images through text prompts or modify existing pictures. To ensure content safety, all images generated by Muse Image will be embedded with invisible watermarks, and the system has implemented safety measures to prevent users from creating content that violates Meta's terms of service.
