According to media sources citing people familiar with the matter, Amazon plans to raise at least $25 billion through an eight-tranche bond issuance to advance its large-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure construction. The company has made it clear to underwriters that it will not issue new bonds for the rest of this year. The bond issuance, jointly underwritten by Barclays, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley, will use the raised funds for general corporate purposes, including supporting investments, funding future capital expenditures, and repaying debt.
