On June 18, 2026, OpenAI announced the launch of a new 'Scheduled Tasks' system for ChatGPT, which is being gradually rolled out to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users on both web and mobile platforms. Users can manage tasks through a newly added standalone page in the sidebar, including viewing, pausing, resuming, editing, or deleting tasks. The system supports executing tasks at precise times or during vague time periods (such as morning, afternoon, or evening), and monitoring tasks will only push notifications when key information is detected. To ensure stability, scheduled tasks will run at most once per hour, and tasks with no interaction for an extended period will be automatically paused. This feature will fully replace the existing Pulse function, which will be discontinued in 14 days.
