Recently, the School of Mathematics and Statistics has made significant progress in leveraging artificial intelligence to advance scientific research. Professor Jian Sun's team has developed a model for generating transition states in chemical reactions, known as TS-DFM, while Professor Shusen Yang's team has proposed a mathematical formula discovery method for multiscale complex systems, named Deflex. These two achievements have been successively published in the internationally renowned journal Nature Communications, providing new tools and methods for AI-empowered scientific knowledge discovery.
