On June 23, 2026, at the Volcano Engine Force Conference, Tan Dai, President of Volcano Engine, unveiled that Doubao’s Seedance 2.5 video generation model is slated for an official release in early July. This model brings three major enhancements: it supports the creation of single videos lasting up to 30 seconds, overcoming limitations encountered by similar products; it accommodates joint input of up to 50 full-modality materials, ensuring the stable preservation of intricate material details throughout the generation process; and it provides versatile video editing functions, allowing for localized content adjustments without compromising the overall visual harmony. Presently, the new model is undergoing its final phase of internal testing.
