In May, propelled by the strong global appetite for artificial intelligence (AI)-related devices, Singapore's electronics exports experienced an extraordinary year-on-year growth of nearly 95%, hitting SGD 7.1 billion. This remarkable increase stands as the highest on record. Integrated circuits emerged as the key contributor, registering a growth rate close to 81%. Furthermore, Singapore's overall non-oil domestic exports also saw a significant uptick, climbing by 38%.
