On June 16, 2026, Jiang Lei, the Chief Scientist at the National-Local Collaborative Humanoid Robot Innovation Hub, disclosed that the hub will join forces with several top-tier enterprises this year to roll out Version 2.0 of its Embodied Intelligence Robot Training Facility. Presently, a network of seven interconnected training bases has been set up across the country. Additionally, the hub has officially inaugurated its Robot Full-Lifecycle Demonstration Application Zone.

Jiang Lei mentioned that in the latter half of the year, the Shanghai Zhangjiang Robot Valley will unveil a sprawling physical demonstration site covering over 10,000 square meters. This site will be dedicated to robot data collection, product pilot testing, inspection and testing, as well as the comprehensive management of "one machine, one code" throughout the entire process. Looking ahead, there are plans to incorporate Shanghai Zhangjiang Robot Valley, Zhangjiang AI Innovation Town, and potentially the entire Pudong New Area into this demonstration application zone. This expansion aims to dissolve the barriers between parks, facilitating the simultaneous deployment of robots in both digital virtual environments and real-world physical settings.
