Recently, the research team headed by Professor Fan Rui and Chen Qijun from the College of Electronic and Information Engineering at Tongji University has achieved notable advancements in the area of online calibration of extrinsic parameters for multimodal sensors. Their study, entitled "DST-Calib: A Dual-Path, Self-Supervised, Target-Free LiDAR-Camera Extrinsic Calibration Network," was published in IEEE Transactions on Robotics (T-RO), a premier international journal specializing in robotics. Tongji University serves as the primary institution for this research, and the first author is a master's student surnamed Huang, who is currently pursuing a degree in Control Science and Engineering, Class of 2024, at Tongji University.
