Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, jointly released a notice to initiate a dedicated campaign in 2026. This campaign focuses on real-world training for humanoid robots and embodied artificial intelligence. The goals of this initiative are unequivocal: by the conclusion of 2026, pivotal products like humanoid robots are expected to spearhead the completion of application verification and be regularly deployed in representative scenarios, thereby inaugurating an 'operational model'. Concurrently, more than a hundred high-value application scenarios will be refined and established, broadening the scope of embodied AI applications and nurturing the ability for large-scale deployment at the ten-thousand-unit level.
