Three sources familiar with the matter revealed that Nvidia has informed Chinese customers that its new "Vera" central processing unit, specifically designed for artificial intelligence data centers, is expected to hit the market as early as August this year, and customers can now place orders. This move underscores that Nvidia, the world's most valuable company by market capitalization, is accelerating the launch of new products to reverse its sharp decline in performance in the Chinese market. Previously, the supply of Nvidia's H200, its second-ranked AI chip in terms of performance, to China had been disrupted for several months.
