On June 12, China Merchants Bank made a groundbreaking move by introducing exclusive AI privileges for its American Express Engineer Credit Card. This card was the first in China to offer tokens as a welcome gift to new customers, marking a pioneering step in incorporating token benefits into the credit card industry. Upon meeting the specified eligibility requirements, new cardholders are entitled to utilize up to 1.8 billion Token M3 each month for AI-driven applications, such as multimodal model invocations. Coincidentally, on the same day, Kimi Intelligent Assistant unveiled the reservation process for what is touted as the world's inaugural AI-native credit card.
