According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on June 12, in the first five months of 2026, the total import and export volume of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area soared to 4.28 trillion yuan, marking an 18.8% year-on-year increase and representing 20.7% of the national total. Notably, Dongguan's industrial collaborative robots, such as palletizers, have emerged as global benchmarks in the industry. During the same timeframe, China's total import and export volume of artificial intelligence-related products, encompassing electronic components and computer parts, reached 4.12 trillion yuan, reflecting a substantial 52.4% year-on-year surge.
