Even before the dust has settled in the fierce competition over digital human services, securities companies have already sparked a 'Strategic Positioning Contest' centered around Skill-based services. Lately, industry leaders such as Huatai Securities, GF Securities, Guosen Securities, and CICC have unveiled an array of Skill tools, spanning a wide range of business scenarios, including investment research and advisory services. Meanwhile, some smaller and medium-sized securities firms are exploring Skill services through collaborations with third-party entities.
An investigative report unveiled that, despite the seemingly thriving Skill market, there exist notable disparities in technical sophistication, and the challenge of AI-generated inaccuracies, often referred to as 'AI hallucinations,' is hard to sidestep. Several interviewees emphasized that the linchpin of competition in AI application scenarios for securities companies does not hinge on the sheer volume of Skills but rather on their ability to construct a 'digital twin blueprint' that mirrors and enhances financial operations.
