At today's keynote of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026), Apple announced an update to its translucent interface design language, Liquid Glass, in response to user feedback over the past year. Apple will further expand its capabilities, requiring developers to adapt, and plans to introduce more customization options in iOS 27. Meanwhile, the new version of Siri will adopt the Gemini model, supporting features such as privacy protection and automatic deletion of historical conversations, and will be available with iOS 27 this fall. Additionally, Apple will allow users to access third-party AI models through the 'Extensions' system and expand the capabilities of the Foundation Models framework.
