UK startup PhysicsX has successfully raised $300 million in a new round of funding, bringing the company's valuation to approximately $2.4 billion. The funding round was led by Singapore's Temasek, with continued participation from early investors such as Nvidia and Applied Materials. PhysicsX offers an AI model capable of predicting the behavior of physical objects, helping aerospace and automotive companies enhance the efficiency of their design, testing, and assembly processes. With a backlog of customer demand for about six months, PhysicsX plans to expand its team and therefore requires additional financial support. The company expects its revenue to approach $50 million this year.
