NVIDIA and LG Group have decided to team up for the establishment of an AI factory. Their primary goal is to offer swift computing support to LG's diverse range of businesses, encompassing robotics, autonomous driving, data centers, and GPU cloud services. In the robotics arena, LG Electronics is set to harness NVIDIA's frameworks, such as Isaac Sim and GR00T, to train its household robot, CLoiD. Additionally, it plans to build a tangible AI data factory, which will supply robot training data to external entities. Concurrently, LG CNS will incorporate NVIDIA's robotics technology into its PhysicalWorks industrial platform. When it comes to the construction of the AI factory, LG Uplus and LG CNS will collaborate to create a scalable AI factory, utilizing NVIDIA's DSX platform as its foundation. Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution is delving into the potential of an 800-volt DC data center energy storage solution. In the realm of autonomous driving, LG Electronics will maintain alignment with NVIDIA's DRIVE Hyperion architecture to further develop its ADAS and software-defined vehicle product lines. Lastly, in the field of autonomous AI, LG AI Research is diligently working on the EXAONE model, which is powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU, and is promoting its usage within the group through ChatEXAONE.
