Bristol-Myers Squibb has partnered with Anthropic to provide its more than 30,000 employees with the Claude artificial intelligence model and Claude Code programming tool, aiming to accelerate the development and launch of new drugs. Meanwhile, Bristol-Myers Squibb will also evaluate the diverse applications of these tools in drug research, development, production, as well as commercial and medical affairs. McKinsey has predicted that Agentic AI technology is expected to enhance clinical R&D efficiency by 35% to 45% over the next five years.
