According to Wired magazine, Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google-owned AI company DeepMind, stated that businesses should leverage the increased productivity from AI to expand operations rather than resort to layoffs. He cited Google's latest model, Gemini 3.5 Flash, as an example—while the model can perform complex coding tasks, it does not mean developer positions will be eliminated.
