On May 18, Baidu unveiled its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The report revealed that Baidu’s AI cloud revenue soared to 8.8 billion yuan this quarter, marking a significant 79% year-on-year increase. Additionally, GPU cloud revenue surged by 184% compared to the same period last year. Baidu Intelligent Cloud has undergone a complete transformation into a cutting-edge full-stack AI cloud platform tailored for large-scale intelligent agent applications. This upgrade encompasses comprehensive enhancements in both AgentInfra and AIInfra capabilities, fortifying the end-to-end synergy from underlying computing power to intelligent agent applications. Such advancements provide a solid foundation for the development of intelligent agents. In terms of computing hardware, the Kunlunxin P800 has successfully undergone large-scale validation and has been deployed in multiple clusters consisting of tens of thousands of cards. This deployment meets the stringent demands of advanced large models for extensive training, ensuring computational accuracy, operator stability, framework compatibility, and long-term operational reliability. Presently, Kunlunxin’s fully domestic cluster has facilitated the training of the crucial version 5.1 of the Wenxin large model.
