According to the quarterly AI and Employment Survey Report released by CNBC and SurveyMonkey on Tuesday, nearly two-thirds of professionals actively avoid using AI tools due to concerns about ethics, environmental impact, privacy breaches, and inaccurate results. Conducted from April 17 to 21, the survey covered 3,597 students and professionals across the U.S. Among them, 36% of students avoided AI due to environmental concerns, compared to 19% of professionals; 36% of students and 28% of professionals cited ethical concerns as a reason to avoid AI. Additionally, 37% of students and 26% of professionals chose to avoid AI due to inaccurate results and low practicality. Privacy breaches were also a significant concern, prompting 37% of students and professionals alike to reject AI use.
