Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently announced on the social platform Threads the launch of a new Meta AI feature called Incognito Chat, which focuses on a 'completely private' chatting experience. He stated that this is the first major AI product that does not retain user conversation records on its servers. According to information released by Meta, conversations in Incognito Chat will not appear in users' chat histories, messages will disappear after the chat ends, and end-to-end encryption technology will be employed to ensure that no one—including Meta itself—can read the conversation content. This feature will be rolled out to WhatsApp and the standalone Meta AI app in the coming months.
