Anthropic PBC has taken a new step to help legal professionals enhance their work efficiency using the Claude chatbot. On May 12, the company introduced more than ten new tools specifically designed for legal practitioners, including a 'Business Legal Advisor' feature capable of reviewing vendor agreements, as well as tools for preparing for the bar exam. Additionally, Anthropic PBC has integrated Claude with commonly used legal software, making these legal functionalities available to paying users through Claude Cowork, which can also be accessed via third-party services. Deputy General Counsel Mark Pike stated that after the release of the Cowork legal tools, there has been a significant increase in lawyers' interest in Claude, with related webinars organized by the company attracting over 20,000 legal professionals to register.
