On May 8, reports surfaced indicating that the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have jointly issued the Implementation Opinions on the Standardized Application and Innovative Development of Intelligent Agents. The document outlines a strategic blueprint for advancing the intelligent internet, including the formulation of a system architecture for intelligent internet development and the exploration of establishing an intelligent agent registration platform. This platform is envisioned to offer comprehensive services such as digital identity management, retrieval and discovery mechanisms, and capability declarations for intelligent agents. Furthermore, it will facilitate the query and management of crucial information, including developer details, deployment methods, interface protocols, and compliance certifications.
In addition, the opinions underscore the importance of bolstering the collaborative capabilities among multiple intelligent agents. They also call for in-depth research into foundational technologies essential for intelligent agents, such as identity identification, trusted interconnection, compliant payment systems, security protection measures, and conflict resolution mechanisms. Concurrently, the document highlights the need to harness the advantages of IPv6 technology to enhance the end-to-end communication capabilities of intelligent agents and to explore the creation of a monitoring indicator system tailored for the intelligent internet.
