Microsoft and OpenAI have formally concluded their seven-year exclusive partnership. Following a revision of their agreement, Microsoft's authorization to utilize OpenAI's model and product intellectual property (IP) has been prolonged until 2032, albeit on a non-exclusive basis. Consequently, Microsoft will cease to provide revenue-sharing payments. In contrast, OpenAI will persist in sharing a portion of its revenues with Microsoft until 2030, albeit subject to a predetermined total cap.
