According to Engadget, Google recently announced the deep integration of its AI research tool, NotebookLM, into the Gemini app. Users can now directly attach personal notebooks as conversation context within the Gemini interface, enabling them to manage their personal knowledge base without switching apps and enhancing workflow continuity. This feature supports joint analysis across multiple notebooks, allowing the generation of visual outputs such as charts and code, and facilitating combined research in both 'private and public domains'. Currently, this functionality is being gradually rolled out to AI Ultra, Pro, and Plus subscribers, with plans to expand to mobile devices and cover more regions in the future.
