On Tuesday, Google unveiled a forthcoming enhancement to the Google Maps application: an AI-driven feature that automatically generates captions for photos or videos shared by users about a particular location. The operational workflow is straightforward: users begin by choosing the photos or videos they intend to upload. Subsequently, the Gemini model, Google's sophisticated AI technology, steps in to scrutinize the visual content and craft a descriptive caption. Users are then presented with the option to either approve the generated caption as is, make necessary edits, or reject it altogether in favor of their own description.
