Microsoft has extended an invitation to members of the Microsoft 365 Insider program to trial the innovative Copilot collaborative writing feature within Word for iOS. This cutting-edge functionality facilitates seamless interaction with AI through natural language, streamlining the process of document creation and refinement. Upon articulating their thoughts, users can leverage Copilot to generate content, which they can subsequently fine-tune and customize. Throughout the collaborative endeavor, a robust security mechanism is in place, empowering users to review proposed edits in shared documents prior to implementation. Although certain technical constraints exist, such as the inability to independently initiate new documents, insert visuals, or append/edit comments, this feature nonetheless offers iOS users a streamlined and efficient document editing experience.
