On April 3, Jiangsu province convened a quarterly work promotion meeting focused on the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) province-wide. Governor Liu Xiaotao presided over the session and delivered a keynote speech. He underscored the importance of harnessing AI as a pivotal factor, advocating for the profound integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation. He also stressed the need to bolster full-stack technological prowess, deepen the utilization of 'AI+', and establish a hub for innovative development.

The meeting highlighted the necessity of collaborative efforts from four key dimensions: application, elements, supply, and ecology. These efforts are aimed at propelling the commercialization and widespread adoption of AI, fortifying the infrastructure for computing power and datasets, overcoming technological bottlenecks in model development, supporting OPC innovation and entrepreneurship, and fostering a conducive environment for growth. Furthermore, it urged all localities and departments to prioritize tangible outcomes and steer clear of blind trend-following and formalism.
